Venturing North to Norway or Sweden?...Try a simple handshake, and reserve a kiss only for friends. Head East to Asia, and little to no contact is the norm. A bow with hands together is the de rigueur greeting in Indonesia, Cambodia, and many other South East Asian nations. In Tibet, you may find yourself sticking our your tongue as a form of salute, whereas in New Zealand, rubbing noses is the traditional greeting of the Maori people.
