#MirameMuchacha of the Month

Every month we feature a lady that has caught our eye.  We cherish qualities such as ambition, kindness, creative talent, and so much more.  This month we we want you to meet singer and dancer Kendra Black.  She impressed us with her devotion to her craft.  Read on to learn more about Kendra and what inspires her.

1.  Where are you from?

I was born in Italy, but by twelve, I was already traveling the world to study music and ballet. I lived in France, Monte-Carlo, Washington DC, and moved to NYC in 2012. I’ve been living in Manhattan for almost 6 years now and absolutely love it.

2.  What is your profession?

I am a recording artist, dancer and actress. Music is my way of expressing myself. It gives me that incredible sense of freedom.

3.   What do you hope your work contributes to the world?

I hope my music will encourage people to be themselves, inspiring strength and badassery.

4.   Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years from now I would like to be even further in my music journey! I want to go on tour in exotic places and collaborate with other talented celebrities.

5. What is your favorite beach destination?

My favorite beach destination would be the island of Pantelleria in Italy. It really is a magical place!

6. What is your favorite workout?

My favorite workouts are running and Ballet! They both push me to be the strongest, best and healthiest version of myself.
